Housing for individuals with developmental disabilities is offered as an alternative to institutionalization. 

Group Training Homes are designed to provide those with developmental disabilities the opportunity for acquiring the skills — such as personal care, housekeeping and cooking, social and vocational — needed to function with as much independence in the community as possible.

Intermediate Care Facilities for the developmentally disabled are designed to provide training in everyday living skills, as well as to provide needed medical care for individuals with multiple disabilities.

Housing for individuals who are Seriously Mentally Ill attempt to meet the needs of the individual by providing a stable living environment and comprehensive training to ensure stability in the community.

Group Home Placement is designed for individuals with mental illness who need structure and support to live outside a more structured environment.

Independent Living Apartments provide minimal supervision for people with mental illness, while providing supervision which includes support and skill refinement when needed.

Crisis Residential Services are provided for those individuals who may be struggling with a medication change, symptoms, or need extra support while transitioning through a difficult stage in their life.

Affordable housing for the elderly and families are provided to meet their specific needs.

HUD Subsidized Housing for the elderly is available in Cullman, Alabama.

Affordable housing for families is available in Leesburg, Alabama.
