Needs of individuals with developmental disabilities are met through housing and day habilitation programs.  Training is designed to encourage skill acquisition to allow each individual to attain the maximum level of independence in his or her home and community.

Trained staff provide guidance and assistance with everyday living tasks such as personal hygiene, cooking, housekeeping, money management, social skills, and community access.

Day habilitation centers also provide vocational training, as well as some income earning opportunities.  In addition, some individuals receive training which enables them to obtain employment in the community.

For questions concerning services provided for children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities, please contact outreach@voana.org.

I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do something that I can do.
